Our Old House

We’ve worked SO hard on this room and are pretty pleased with how it has turned out.  As always, there are things that still need to be done, but we have come so far.

Our earlier posts should remind you of what the kitchen looked like when we arrived. Here you should be able to get a sense of our progress and where we have been.

The yellow stucco is officially a thing of the past.  A few finishing touches remain, but we have learned a lot along the way.

We have had help from a lot of people, including but not limited to:

• Daddy with his DIY know-how
• Various laborers from the not-so-local Home Depot
• Jim and Matt - Electrician Extraordinaires
• McNair, Rich and Uncle Don for his sledgehammer
• Mom and Dad for the beautiful appliances
• Many friends and family who have offered opinions and advice

• Each Other

And last, but not least, I have to give it up to The Internet for its infinite wisdom… we couldn’t have done it without It!
